These Official Rules specifically identify, and for the Quests giveaway supersede any conflicting provision of, the Katana Terms & Conditions, as permitted by Section 22.9 thereof.

1. Sponsor

Katana Services (Cayman) Ltd. (the "Sponsor").

2. Eligibility

Open to natural persons who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater; who are not resident in, or accessing from, a Giveaway-Excluded Jurisdiction; and who are not on any sanctions list. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of the Sponsor and their immediate households are not eligible. To make entries earned through on-chain activity eligible, a participant must complete the one-time Foundation quest track; this is not required for free mail-in entries.

Giveaway-Excluded Jurisdiction means: (a) the United States of America, any U.S. person or resident, and its territories and possessions (Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands); (b) Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, and the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine; (c) any country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions by OFAC, the United Nations, the United Kingdom, or the European Union; (d) the United Kingdom, Mainland China, the Province of Quebec (Canada), South Korea, and Singapore; and (e) any other jurisdiction in which the giveaway would be prohibited or restricted, or would require registration, licensing, or bonding.

3. Promotion period

The giveaway runs in monthly cycles. The entry snapshot is taken at 23:59:59 UTC on the last day of each calendar month. The first snapshot is taken on 31 July 2026 and the first draw occurs on 1 August 2026. Each monthly draw is a separate giveaway. XP and entries reset to zero at the start of each cycle after the draw.

4. How to enter

4A. Earned entries (on-chain activity)

Perform qualifying on-chain activity per the Earn Table below. XP accrues daily based on the USD-equivalent value of the activity. Each 1 XP equals one (1) entry in that month's draw. Earned entries require completion of the one-time Foundation quest track.

4B. Free method of entry (no purchase necessary)

No purchase, payment, token holding, or on-chain activity is necessary to enter or win, and the free method offers the same per-entry odds as the earned method. To enter for free, hand-write a postcard containing your full legal name, return mailing address, wallet address, and the statement "I am at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in my jurisdiction), I am not a resident of, or accessing from, a Giveaway-Excluded Jurisdiction, and I am eligible to enter the Katana Quests giveaway," and mail it to:

Each valid postcard counts as one (1) entry and does not require completing the Foundation quest track. Limit one (1) free entry per person per monthly draw; mechanically reproduced, photocopied, or illegible cards are void. Mail-in entries must be received by the 2nd-to-last day of the month (23:59 UTC).

5. Drawing and odds

On each monthly snapshot, ten (10) winners are selected by a random draw conducted using a documented, reproducible method; the random seed is recorded and published with the results. Odds are proportional to each entrant's number of entries; your odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. A person (including any wallets they control) may win at most one (1) prize tier per monthly draw; once selected, that person and their wallets are removed from subsequent tier draws that month.

6. Prizes

The monthly prize pool is US$12,500 in value, awarded in vKAT.

US$750 of the pool (the three $250 tiers) is allocated to Krates. Prize vKAT is issued directly to winners by the Sponsor (not via staking), delivered without a lockup. The Sponsor makes no promise or guarantee regarding the value of any prize, and receipt of any particular prize is not guaranteed. In addition, each eligible entrant who is not selected as a winner receives a consolation award of 1 vKAT, delivered without a lockup, funded separately from the prize pool and subject to the same eligibility and sanctions screening. Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash or alternative substitution except at the Sponsor's discretion. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes arising from a prize or consolation award.

7. Winner notification, claim, and forfeiture

Prizes are paid to the winner's wallet address. Each winning wallet is screened against sanctions lists before payout; a winner who is sanctioned or otherwise ineligible is disqualified and the prize re-drawn. Winners must claim within 45 days. Prizes unclaimed after the claim window roll over to the next month's pool. Prizes and consolation awards may not be deliverable to multi-signature or smart-contract wallets; winners should use a compatible self-custodial wallet. If you are unable to claim due to technical issues, gas fees, wallet incompatibility, loss of access to your wallet or its keys, or any other reason, you have no recourse or claim against the Sponsor, whose liability is limited to using good-faith efforts to deliver.

8. Publicity

By entering, participants consent to the publication of winning wallet addresses and prize amounts for transparency. No personal identity is published.

9. Conditions and disqualification

The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who creates, operates, or controls multiple wallets or identities to gain additional earned entries, uses bots or scripts, uses a VPN or other means to evade geographic restrictions, or otherwise tampers with the operation of the giveaway.

10. Limitation of liability and release

Participation is subject to the limitation-of-liability, disclaimer, and release provisions of the Katana Terms & Conditions (Sections 17–19). The Sponsor's obligation in respect of prizes is limited to using good-faith efforts to deliver an awarded prize.

11. Privacy

Personal data submitted via mail-in entry is processed solely to administer the giveaway and is retained only until the dispute window closes (45 days after results are published), after which it is securely destroyed, in accordance with the Katana Privacy Policy. For EU/EEA participants, transfers to the Sponsor in the Cayman Islands are made under EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and the Sponsor's Article 27 representative is identified in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands and subject to the dispute-resolution and arbitration provisions of the Katana Terms & Conditions (Sections 20–21).

13. Modification

The Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the program or any draw as provided in Sections 1 and 4.11 of the Katana Terms & Conditions.
